Built from the ice up

STX wanted to break into the ice hockey market and put their spin on protective equipment. It required years of collaboration with the R&D team; including designers, engineers, product managers, and of course players. The goal was to build an all new line of protective gear from the ice up that offered best in class protection, mobility, and comfort. The answer was a shoulder pad with a hydrophobic liner and exclusive HexPro protective foam. An elbow pad with an all new three piece design for maximum mobility, patented 360 elastic strap for retention, and a removable slash guard for targeted protection. Round it out with a shin guard that included the patented 360 strap as well as a patented integrated cut resistant sleeve to protect the player from season ending injuries.
